Commentary
That a child can master the abstract interpretation of the
competition's theme is truly memorable. Here various sized brightly-colored
bubbles fill the sky. They look like centres or nodes of a circular framework
which could well be the way of conceptualizing illustrating dependance
in the years to come. Connecting each node is an escalator of people;
yet the pathway is open. Perhaps it stands for all the planets in alignment.
Such a harmony of color is also remarkable; not one bulb seems heavier
than the rest or more fraught with meaning by its placement on the page.
This work is truly contemporary and modern.
