Commentary
This piece is meant to communicate through the sense of
touch, placing its merit with such painters as Van Dongen and Paul Klee.
The verticle stripes in the background create an energy which pulls vertically,
while the two central shapes pull side to side. There seems to be two
structures, one smaller and one larger: perhaps this is meant to communicate
a smaller section of the country seeking inmdependence from a larger country.
This painting is a gift of touch, a truly unique rendition of a country's
interdependance.
